Tall Jerry

Tall Jerry was born and raised in the town of Graystone. At an early age, he realized that he was different from most children. His unusual size made it difficult to live in a world designed for much smaller people. This made him a target of ridicule for the kids with whom he went to school. Jerry developed anger management problems, and was constantly getting in trouble for fighting. His classmates eventually learned to fear him and leave him alone--completely. Jerry became increasingly isolated and lonely, until one day a new student came to Graystone Elementary School.

Shotgun Sam was unlike anybody Jerry had ever known. Unintimidated by Jerry's size, and unimpressed with his temper, the monkey-like Sam was the only student willing to have anything to do with Jerry. Reluctantly, Jerry accepted that fact that crazy little Sam was the best chance he had at a real friendship. When Sam ran away from school to live in the boxcar on his own, Jerry was the only person he allowed near himself.

As Sam's life fell apart, Jerry gradually got his in order. When he was attending Graystone High School, a girl name Suzanne transferred in from Water Falls High School. She saw through his rough exterior, and reached out to him. It didn't take long for Jerry to win her over, and they started dating. Unfortunately, Jerry still had problems with fighting, both during and after high school. Other guys would often provoke him in order to prove their mettle, and he had a hard time backing down. This got him into legal trouble several times, and with Suzanne's help he started fighting less, and began an auto repair business. Sheriff Brownie, however, insisted on viewing Jerry as a violent monster instead of an honest businessman, and tensions mounted.

After the events of Graystone: The Musical, Tall Jerry allowed Shotgun Sam to move into his apartment as a way of thanking his childhood friend. Jerry's current project is to turn Sam into a productive member of society.
